A highly skilled community of police officers operates 24 hours a day, immediately responding to every call forwarded by various local dispatch centers. Their effectiveness is reflected by the significant reduction in various property crimes.  

Additionally, the city's Civil Guard is comprised of hundreds of volunteers that work on rotating schedules. The local "Magen David Adom" also has many younger residents that go through revival and first aid training.
